"No."

"Oh come on, pleeeease?!"

I crossed my arms and furrowed my brow. This was the third time he'd asked today.

"I said, no. I am NOT going to pretend to be your girlfriend for a weekend!"

It was lunchtime, and I was poring over some history homework while Simon whined in my ear. He was about medium height, short brown hair, round face and was driving me up the wall with his insane plan.

"It's ONE weekend, and I reeeeeally need this, Liam!" he whined, tugging my arm. I pulled away and picked up some worksheets.

"It's insane, it's stupid, I don't want to do it and it's insane." I retorted. "I'm uncomfortable enough with my condition as it is."

Oh, right, I forgot to mention; I've a bizzare condition, which I still don't understand, which makes me change gender completely. As in, fully girl. It's episodic, and I can manage it if I transform at least once every two days, but it's still weird and I only told my best friend about it because I could trust him. Now he wants to exploit it so he can get a girlfriend to show off on this school trip to Italy, unable to withstand his friend's taunts about being a loner forever. I empathized but not enough to morph into a girl and pretend to be in a relationship with him for four whole days!

"I swear it won't be that bad, and I'll owe you soooo big!" he just kept moaning.
All day it lasted, whispering in my ear and poking me across the desk. By the time we got out of school I was half crazy and stayed silent as we walked home.

"… And your clothes change too, right? And it's only for four days, I mean, come on!"

I bit my lip and kept staring forward.

Simon paused. "Well… you know who else might be going? Beth. I know you like her."

I finally stopped and looked at him. "… Beth? Really?"

He nodded. "Yes, she's on the register for it too."

I contemplated this information. I wonder if I could get to know her better…

"It's four days you say?"

Simon grinned. "I'll start making, uh, 'arrangements'. A little register change wouldn't hurt, would it?"

"Alright… but I swear if you start touching I'll break your nose!" I growled reluctantly and set off home, Simon skipping in the other direction. This better be worth it, you crazy git.

"Okay, mom, see you next week!" I called and pulled my case up the path. I still couldn't believe that moron had convinced me to do this, and I wasn't sure how I could even pull it off for four whole days. Simon was beaming at the end of the road, and I rolled my eyes as I approached.

"Got everything?"

"Yes, as far as I know." I shrugged and headed up to the school, where our bus to the airport was waiting. "I took all the normal clothes I'd take and… changed them." Cringing, I remembered the female underwear now placed in my suitcase, and made a mental note to slap Simon once all this was done.

"Alright, so, are you…" Simon glanced up and down the deserted path. "…you know, are you gonna change before we get there?"

"I guess I'll have to if I'm on the register as a girl…" I groaned, and looked around as well. "Remember, I'll kill you if you start making a move."

Simon nodded and stepped back, and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. This was usually done in secret, hidden away, so it was scary to be outside in the daytime when it happened.

The transformation began, slow at first but picking up pace. It happened in broad strokes, as if reality held a paintbrush and I was a canvas. Short ginger hair turned to long, red curtains. Skinny arms became smooth and round, and hipbones widened and re-arranged. Curves and lumps developed into delicate breasts and bright green eyes opened up rows of long eyelashes. Then came the clothes; a creased shirt became puffy-sleeved, a black top appearing over it. Belted trousers shifted into a short pleated skirt, knee-high socks stretched over nude-coloured tights and black trainers became belted flats. Finally, a bra and panties slid on, making me cringe again when I felt them there.
Once it had finished, I breathed out and looked myself over. Admittedly, I was pretty hot.

"There. Done." I said in my high, melodic voice. Simon blinked and grinned.

"…Excellent. Well then, Lauren, shall we get going?"

" 'Lauren'?" I narrowed my smooth, well-trimmed eyebrows.

"Well that's the name I put on the register" Simon shrugged and took my hand. I relented hitting him for now, and we made our way up to the school building.

"This is weeeird" I murmered, pulling my skirt down. "This thing is too short, I feel… exposed just walking like this!"

"Don't worry, you'll be fine." Simon grinned again and held open the door for me. "Ladies first?"

"I WILL hit you, you ass!" I growled, but he just laughed. I suppose I wasn't very intimidating in this form.

We walked over to the corner of the lunch hall where the trip group was meeting up, Simon half-dragging me by the hand in eagerness.

"Hey guys, this is Lauren!" He beamed at them, and they gave me such a look- over that I could almost feel their eyes on me. This must be what bacteria under a microscope feels, I mused, and smiled back at them.

"Lauren, this is John, Tim, Kyle and Elliott." I gave a small wave and they nodded or murmered in response. Simon clearly had planned this well.

"Time to go, everybody in the bus!" the teacher leading the group called out, and we shuffled out into the parking lot. As the others boarded, I kept glancing around for Beth, trying to pick her out in the crowd.

"Simon, have you seen where Beth is?" I muttered, on tiptoes trying to peer over the heads of the guys in front of us. It seems I'm shorter now too, damn.

"Nope, can't see her. She's probably already on the bus." He replied, not paying attention.

Finally we settled down, me with my head against the window and Simon still holding my hand beside me. It was an extremely awkward two hours, as Simon chatted away and grinned in my direction occasionally, silently gloating. At least these clothes were somewhat comfy, despite revealing a little more than I'd like.

I took a window seat again when we got on the plane, Simon still grasping my hand as if he'd lose me if he let go. Thanks to a little confusion and a crowd of upset tourists at check-in and boarding, I had quickly transformed to show my passport and changed back once I got through, and no-one noticed. A slightly inattentive teacher leading us was pretty helpful too. I had been scanning intently as we got on and I thought I might have seen Beth take a seat near the front, but I wasn't sure. Now I was anxious, trying to peer down between the seats just to get a glimpse of her black hair or hear her beautiful laugh, but it was for naught and I sat back in my seat Simon gave me a smile.

"Thanks so much for this." He whispered, and squeezed my hand.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Have you seen Beth?" I glanced once more, as the plane started taxiing down the runway, about to take off.

"Uh, see, that's the thing L-… Lauren… " He murmered, apprehensive. "I only said I saw her name on the sheet, I don't think she actually came with us."

I slowly turned to face him. "What?"

"Now, please, don't be mad, I really really needed you to come, and I swear I'll make it up to you, promise!" he spluttered.

I just lay back, head against the seat, as the plane accelerated into the air. I was trapped, stuck as a girl wearing girl's uniform and playing girlfriend to my best friend on some stupid school trip. I glared as hard as I could at Simon.

"I swear, I will kill you to death." I hissed, but he just smiled and shrugged.

"By now, I'd say it's worth it!"
Haven't posted much in a long time, sorry! Low on ideas and whatnot. Hopefully I'll get more done this weekend.
